The Surf Maroc shop & hire center is located above Taghazout Villa.

We stock Torq, Ocean & Earth, NSP, and Fahd hand-shaped longboards.

We have a huge selection of boards to suit all levels and tastes. Single fins, twin fins, thrusters, quads, shortboards, funboards, eggs, fishes, and longboards.

It’s a perfect opportunity to experience and try out a new shape or use the identical board you have at home without the hassle and burden of transporting it.

Surf Lessons & Surf School

2-Hour Beginner Lesson

Never surfed before? Join a 2-hour surf lesson tailored to your level, guided by our qualified local instructors and adapted to the best conditions of the day. Softboard and wetsuit included.

Full Day Surf Coaching

Transport to the best beach for your level, 2 hours of group coaching with qualified coaches, a standard board and wetsuit, a packed lunch and free surf under supervision in the afternoon.

KM14 Surf School

Our surf school outpost at Devil’s Rock (KM14), ten minutes from Taghazout. Private, semi-private and group lessons, plus board hire so you can just rock up and surf. Open daily 11am – 7pm; booking ahead is advised.

Surfing in Taghazout

Anchor Point

The wave that put Taghazout and Morocco on the map. A dependable, world-class right-hand point that wraps cleanly on most swells. It has many moods, but is nearly always rippable.

Killer Point

Named after the killer whales sometimes seen here in summer. It rewards those prepared to paddle the distance, and linking sections can mean leg-burning rides.

Imsouane

Long, mellow rights wrap into a well-protected bay, giving some of the longest right-handers in the world. Perfect for learning, longboarding and improving.
